Life after John Belushi

Or how the mighty have fallen.
Dan Ackroyd signs his bottles of skull vodka in Pasadena Friday night.
More info here.
Who knew the ripple effects of an untimely demise?

  1. This reminds me of when I saw Mick Fleetwood signing wine bottles at Costco. I immediately assumed some heartbreak had befallen him and rushed home to google his name. I discovered that he had merely become a wine maker, it was a passion of his and he was successful at it.

I don't see anything in the link you gave to say Akroyd has fallen. I see him pursuing something new. He's had a long and very successful career, but people try new things, and that's what this looks like to me.

  2. Petrea:
I love your optimistic perspective. It was only my curmudgeonly one speaking--

  3. I think I'm with Petrea here. If Coppola can make a wine empire, why can't Akroyd have a vodka one.

  4. I've got a little Dan Akroyd story to tell ... Don't worry, I'll practice it a few times before we meet up again.
