I was disappointed in how few Pasadena restaurants are participating this year. I think I counted two.
ReplyDeleteStill think the best deal is that 3-course + glass of wine at Mozza Osteria for $35.
Mea culpa - recounted 10 participating Pasadena restaurants.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, Chef!
ReplyDeleteNow, I gotta decide which one to ck out this time.
eek! S and CO I've been flaking here! Thanks for the comments--
ReplyDeleteCall me! Let's go.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm just gonna stay home and ck out Il Fornaio in 1 Colorado this thyme. Never been inn - just from de outside. But, I due no sum who have & seam 2 like it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun but a little out of my price range. Have you ever dined at that little restaurant next to the cooking school on Green? I pass by sometimes on my evening walks. Curious as to your opinion.
ReplyDeletePA: Haven't tried it, but have heard good things.
ReplyDeleteCO: At a conference in San Jose I ate at the Il Fornaio there. So much better than Pasadena. Who knows why?
M: Ready!
PA: You speaking about The School Cafe? Have tried it. Hit & Miss, depending on what you order. They are students afterall. Prices seem reasonable.
ReplyDeleteCO: the highest bill I was ever slapped with was the worst meal I ever paid for. Hit and miss I can live with if it's cheap.
ReplyDeleteI've had some good meals at Il Fornaio, or maybe I just like the place. One of my favorite restaurants in Pas is The Raymond.
ReplyDeleteDes, I thought I saw the promise of something slowcooked on this blog.
