Your garlic post moves me -- to the mortar and pestle. (Grew my own garlic this year, and my lord, it's so good sometimes I just spread it raw on toast.)

ReplyDeleteFor some reason I thought of you today when I went to Ikea and bought 10 jars of pickled herring. It's really too hot to eat anything but pickled herring, pickled cucumbers, and peaches.
